First I drew two Mood boards. The first one is about my stream of consciousness inspiration. When I first wanted to make this bag, I thought of orchids and ink painting in Chinese traditional paintings. I think the use of ink painting in the handbag making process is very innovative. So I went on to draw a second one, and the second one was my initial idea of the handbag. I wanted to combine elements of Chinese tradition and modern design in the handbag. But when I looked closely, I found that too many elements would make the design of the handbag very complicated, so I improved it later.
